“What you are in the very core of your being is so profoundly

ordinary and true that the only way to know it, is to be it as

the love and silence that you are and have always been.”

Satsang

“Satsang is a word used to describe the meeting between the awakened and the seeker. It literally means “meeting with truth”.  There are no special circumstances required for such a meeting to occur. The moment any meeting with the divine occurs Satsang is happening. All that is required is this meeting between the real and the emerging realness. There is nothing being done in Satsang. There is just this encounter with the ever present awareness of that which you are. The moment Satsang happens all disappears and all that remains is light, love, and total ordinary suchness. The first time that I attended such a formal Satsang meeting I was incredibly impressed by how everyone seemed so contented just to sit still and enjoy the silence of the moment. Now I cannot seem to do anything else (lol) other than that. It is no longer a search. It is just this present moment happening in all its perfection. Right here, right now. Satsang is an invitation to be free of one’s mind, one’s desires, one’s suffering. It is an invitation to be natural, true and totally honest with oneself…to the point that you just let go and surrender to reality. It is a tremendous relief to come home to ones essential nature.”
